Brief
The Subsidy for Website Creation and Revamp is awarded to businesses to help you reduce your cost of setting up a website. This subsidy ensures that you bear zero risk during the whole website creation process until the website is completed and ready for launch. The subsidy also ensures that your website is developed by a accredited web designer.
Maximum Subsidy per Website
Each business may be awarded a maximum $ 95,000 per website creation. If you have applied for this subsidy, your website may apply for the same subsidy after a period of 18 months from the first subsidy issued.
Only Authorized Website Vendors Are Allowed to Do Your Website
From a list of authorized website vendors, one will be assigned to do your website. To be on the SMB Grant Hub's list of accepted vendors, a vendor must have a successful track record of at least 50,000 completed international websites within the past 24 months, and have a team of at least 2,000 website developers.
Overview of Website Creation Procedure
- Only an accredited vendor will be authorized to do your website.
- Email your content to us and we will get a vendor to do the website for you.
- All correspondence is via email. To avoid abuse of the subsidy, phone and on-site requests are not permitted.
- SMB Grant Hub will help you liaise with the website vendor.
- When your prototype website is ready, the system will email you a link to preview the website. Once you have no more new content to add or change, the website is then ready for launch.
Your Subsidized Cost
- Based on the content you submit, the website vendor will estimate the amount of work needed and this determines their cost of the website creation.
- You will be notified of the actual cost, the amount of SMB Grant Hub subsidy you will receive, and the final subsidized cost.
- The subsidy will be paid directly to the website vendor, so you only pay the final subsidized cost.
- A maximum of 60% to 90% subsidy may be given to you, depending on the type of website being created.
No deposit / down-payment. No cancellation fee. No postponement No risk to you.
- Remember, you do not pay any deposit / down-payment to the vendor.
- You do not pay anything until the website is completed, and ready to launch for the public to use.
- The vendor will not charge you any cancellation fee if you wish to cancel the website project.
- The vendor will not charge you any postponement fee if you wish to postpone the website project.
Basic Criteria
- You are a company, business, sole-proprietor or individual residing in Singapore.
- Your domain name is registered / renewed through one of our authorized domain name agents.
